How To Order
There are a number of ways you can order through the Scallyoop store:
Once you have placed an order you will be sent an order confirmation email. It is important that you check your order confirmation email thoroughly. If there are any errors please email us immediately at sales@scallyoop.com. It should be noted that changes can not be made once your order is placed. If you are sending your package to somewhere other than the billing address, both addresses will appear on your Order Confirmation email. If you do not receive an Order Confirmation Email you may have entered an incorrect email address. Please email us and we will correct the email address and send you a copy of your order and your order number.
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Scallyoop reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. If your credit card has already been charged for a purchase and your order is cancelled, Scallyoop will reimburse your order.
We cannot make additions or deletions to orders once they have been placed.

Your order is considered current unless cancelled in writing (via email) by either the customer or Scallyoop. Orders can not be cancelled after they have been shipped.
The availability of our products on-line is updated regularly and every attempt is made by us to ensure its accuracy. Sometimes however, items sell out between this time and when you have placed an order. If items are sold out or if there are any delays on delivery, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Please note that stock availability is subject to change without prior notice.
If you order a product that is out of stock or if there are any expected delays on delivery, we will provide you with three options:
By placing an order with Scallyoop you give us the authority to send you our promotional emails, exclusive sale offers and new product updates from time to time. If you do not wish to receive our promotional emails, please reply to your order confirmation with the title 'unsubscribe' in the subject line.
PRICINGAll prices are inclusive of 10% GST and are listed in Australian Dollars.
Scallyoop reserves the right to adjust product and shipping prices on the web site at any time without notice.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Scallyoop shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.
Promotion codes & vouchers can not be used in conjuction with any other offer unless specified. Promotion codes and/or vouchers do not apply to sale items. You can still use promotion codes and/or vouchers if you have a mixture of sale items and regularly priced items in your shopping cart but the terms and conditions of a promotion code do not include sale items in the minimum spend or % off.
We only trade in Australian Dollars.
Payment methods can be selected at the checkout.
In all instances, goods are only dispatched once full payment has been received.
DELIVERY OF GOODS Scallyoop currently only delivers within Australia.
Note: For overseas customers interested in purchasing items listed on our website please e-mail us with your order and we will do our best to fulfill your request. This will include confirming payments, shipping costs and relevant insurances. Orders made from outside Australia and that are to be shipped outside Australia, will have the GST amount deducted. This adjustment is done manually and will appear on the invoice sent with the order confirmation.
We aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receipt, providing that goods are in stock. Scallyoop will contact you by email to let you know when an order has been dispatched and provide an estimated delivery date. Any date quoted for delivery is an estimate only.
Goods will be delivered using Australia Post or a courier service and a signature may be required upon receipt of goods. Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery. For courier services, if you are not present when a delivery takes place, a card will be left and you can re-arrange delivery on an alternative morning / afternoon of a specific day. Any additional costs for re-delivery attempts are the customer’s responsibility and as such, are to be paid for by the customer.
Scallyoop recognise that complicated or high delivery charges for goods sold on the internet are frustrating to online consumers. We have therefore tried to keep our charges as simple as we can and delivery costs down to what we believe is a very competitive and fair amount.
Delivery charges (within Australia) will be at a flat rate of AUD$11.50 for all goods sent via Standard Australia Post Delivery.
The only exceptions to these charges may be if items are:
extremely large or heavy (such as products that need to be mailed in a box or large post pack). If the actual cost of shipping exceeds our domestic flat rates we will contact you with a quote to ship the goods and will give you the option of continuing with the order and paying the additional shipping costs or canceling the order
very small. We know how frustrating it can be to order one small item — a couple of dummy clips for example — and then have to pay an inflated shipping price to have it delivered. If the actual cost of shipping is substantially lower than our domestic flat rates we will issue you with a credit voucher for the difference between what you have already paid in shipping costs and the minimum we charge for handling and delivery of goods
requested by you, the customer, to be sent via registered post. This will incur an additional charge of $3.00 over our flat domestic Standard Australia Post Delivery Rate. For extra security Scallyoop recommends you choose the registered post option, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit. This option also enables your goods to be tracked and gives you the added assurance of having your goods insured for a value of up to $100. Should you require further insurance, an additional charge may be added. This amount is usually AU$2 per extra AU$100 over the initial AU$100 amount. Please note that goods sent by Standard Australia Post Delivery can not be traced and therefore the risk of loss/damage passes to you upon our delivery to Australia Post.
These prices are for orders placed on this website only.
Please note in some cases the correct shipping costs may not show at the checkout. Scallyoop will contact you to advise if there is any change to your shipping costs. In this case you will be asked to accept the charge before we ship your order. You may also cancel your order if you wish not to accept the shipping charge.
If you need your goods urgently please contact us so we can arrange for your goods to be sent via Express Post or to be couriered to you. We will advise you of the cost of shipping and recommended insurances (if applicable) in these instances before dispatching your goods.
Pick up from Scallyoop
This option is available to customers who live close to the Scallyoop warehouse in Lake Macquarie, NSW. Please contact us to pre-arrange a pick up time.
Incorrect Delivery Address & Returned Parcels
In the instance where an incorrect address is provided or a parcel has been returned to Scallyoop as undeliverable, an extra charge of $11.50 will apply.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER & FURTHER IDENTIFICATIONAs a Customer of Scallyoop, you must provide current, complete, and accurate information about yourself at all times.
We reserve the right to request further identification if required and to cancel orders when further identification is requested, but not received or found to be unsatisfactory.
Scallyoop understands that Internet shopping is different from being able to pick-up and hold items the way you do in a conventional store. Whilst we promise to provide the best products possible and are committed to selling high quality children’s products, we understand that purchasing any item is a matter of personal preference/taste.
We want you to be totally happy with any purchases that you make from us. Therefore, if you are in any way unhappy with your purchase we will cheerfully return/exchange the item/s provided:
All items are returned within 14 days of the original date of dispatch. No exchange, credit or refund can be given after 14 days for change of mind or if you have made a wrong decision. (This period may be extended in certain circumstances, such as the item was purchased as a gift and not presented to the recipient immediately if we are informed of this possibility within 7 days of the original date of dispatch.)
The product(s) must be as new, ie: unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unsoiled and in their original packaging and/or tags attached
You contact Scallyoop Pty. Ltd. and obtain a Return Authorisation Number (R.A.N.) prior to agreement for any returns to take place. To obtain a R.A.N. email us (info@scallyoop.com) with the following details at hand: Your Name, Invoice Number, Product Name, Reason for Return and Request for replacement, exchange, credit or refund. On supply of this requested information, a R.A.N. will be issued and is to be written on the outside of the returned package

Postage/shipping and handling of products is not refundable unless we have made a mistake and sent you the wrong product/s or the product/s is deemed faulty. Under no circumstances will a refund or credit be given if the products received are used, worn, washed, soiled, damaged or without original packaging and/or tags attached. These items will be returned to the customer with the customer responsible for any return shipping costs.
The customer will be responsible for the cost of returning any item to Scallyoop in its original condition. Scallyoop advises that you send your return package by registered post, as Scallyoop cannot be held responsible for any product lost/damaged in transit.
If you have requested a refund, a credit will be issued via the same payment method used within 7 days of receipt of returned goods, provided the R.A.N. (Return Authorisation Number) is clearly marked on the package.
The customer will be responsible for any charges incurred by Scallyoop when reversing payments are made, such as bank charges.
If requested by Scallyoop, the Customer may be required to provide information that we can use to assist the Customer with any monetary refund or return. This information may include your name, address, home phone, work phone, credit card details and other relevant information required by us. Failure to provide sufficient information may delay the refund process. Scallyoop is not to be held responsible for any delays according to this clause.
Please note that refunds, exchanges or credits cannot be given for special order or custom made items including furniture (unless deemed faulty). We do not refund, exchange or offer store credit on furniture that once seen is deemed unfit for its purchased purpose or is not to the liking of the customer. Please choose funiture products carefully as our suppliers do not offer refunds unless there is a manufacturing fault and they are unable to replace your original order with another item in stock.
If exchanging an item you may select an alternative product, however if the replacement item is priced higher than the item exchanged you will be required to pay for the difference.
Costs of shipping are borne by the customer when replacing goods, unless faulty.
In the case of clothing purchases, please be aware that items will incur a $10 dry-cleaning fee should the item be returned marked with any visible stain.
In the unlikely event that stock is recalled by the manufacturer, Scallyoop will pay all associated costs for return and refund.
There will be no credit given on order price difference, due to any price changes.
If you change your mind after submitting an order please contact us as soon as possible by telephone (0429 902 517) or email (sales@scallyoop.com) so we can cancel your order. If you change your mind after the order has been dispatched the returns and exchanges policy above applies.
Scallyoop prides itself on its quality control and checks all products to the best of its ability before dispatch.
If however, you believe you have a product that is faulty, please call or email us as soon as possible during business hours, with your purchase details to obtain a Return Authorisation Number (R.A.N.). Often problems can be resolved immediately. In some cases you may be directed to the manufacturers service department. Please note that Scallyoop makes no warranties or representations of any kind for the products being offered. Any warranties made are by the manufacturers themselves. Normal warranty periods apply and vary depending on the individual product.
Scallyoop takes great care when packaging your order and rarely have our packages been damaged in transit. In the unfortunate case that your order does get damaged please note Scallyoop is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. The risk of loss/damage passes to you upon our delivery to Australia Post. It is advisable to opt for the registered post option when ordering products so that your parcels can be tracked and are automatically insured for a value of up to $100. Further insurance is recommended to cover more expensive items as mentioned in the costs of shipping section (see above). As long as your parcel has been sent by registered post or courier, most packages are covered by the level of insurance included in delivery, provided you have not asked for a package to be left at a premises without signature confirmation of delivery. As we consider any damage or loss of goods on a case-by-case basis, it is important to contact Scallyoop within 7 days of receipt of goods so we can aid you in the replacement of damaged goods.
Please ensure you open your parcel, check all items are included, are undamaged and any electrical items or battery operated items are working and in good order on receipt. Claims for missing or damaged items cannot be accepted after 7 days of receipt. Electrical or battery operated items deemed 'dead on arrival' will be replaced with a new item but only if reported to us within 7 days of receipt. After 7 days we are restricted to the manufacturers warranty replacement or repair conditions.
If item(s) received is not what you ordered, please do not open the sealed packaging. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.
Scallyoop owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error and as such these goods must be returned to us immediately. We will be responsible for any postage charges related to the return of our goods.
Products offered on Sale/Clearance are not returnable unless faulty. This type of sale/clearance is considered final. From time to time some products may be offered at a discounted price due to slight damaged or a small fault, this will be detailed on the product page. These items are also not returnable and the sale/clearance is considered final.
Scallyoop reserves the right to refuse or discontinue supply or services of any products without notice to persons who are deemed to engage in conduct or activities that Scallyoop believes violates any of its terms and conditions.
Scallyoop shall not be liable to the Customer, or to any other person whomsoever, for any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly in connection with the Products, other than expressly imposed by statute in terms of which it is not possible to limit or exclude liability.
