We've literally spent months and months trying to source groovy dolls for all the 'quirky littlies' out there...There are thousands of dolls in the marketplace, so why, you may wonder, has it taken us soooo long?

Well obviously, like our name suggests, any doll we source has to be quirky i.e. stylish and yet unique enough that it is far from 'run-of-the-mill'.  Furthermore, it has to be made with only the highest quality materials, be soft enough to cuddle and handle plenty of love and, also sturdy enough to stand the test of time.  You would think that these are all simple criteria to fulfill but believe us when we say this has been no easy task... Finding those extremely SPECIAL dolls worth highlighting on this site has been very like finding a needle in a haystack.  

Thanks to the creative team at Australian company Evie and Henry we have finally found one such needle!  Evie and Henry pride themselves on making quality handmade creations for the little people in your life.  Making toys that do not just sit on the shelf (although they are so beautiful you might be tempted to buy one just for a display!) but are designed to be loved and played with for many years to come, the creators of this innovative brand hope that each creation brings as much joy to a child as was experienced in making it. 

This Poppy Doll is nothing short of truly exceptional.  From her side-parted hair (elegantly tied back with bright red bows), her impeccable fashion sense (evidenced by her cute pink dress appliqued with a delightful mushroom boldly teamed up with a pair of striped stockings and bright red Mary-Jane shoes) to her cheeky and playful smile, everything about Poppy seems to suggest fun, laughter and quiet confidence.

• Lovingly Handmade:  Each Poppy Doll is uniquely handmade to order.  Whilst this means that Poppy will not be exactly the same as pictured here (she will be very similar as the same patterns and fabrics are used) it does mean that the Poppy your child is lucky enough to get is truly 'one-of-a-kind'
• Made for Play: All Evie and Henry dolls are made especially for little people to love and play with... They are double stitched for extra durability (arms and legs are stitched many more times so they don't get left behind when Poppy is excitedly pulled around by your littlie as they tackle the day's adventures, swung about in the air as she keeps up with activities in the playground or is dragged along sleepily to cuddle up to at bedtime!)
• Easy to Clean:  As a Mum herself, Poppy's talented creator, understands the need for children to have dolls (like Poppy) that are machine washable...You have to love that!  Place Poppy in an underwear/delicate garment bag, wash only in cold water using the regular wash cycle of your washing machine and simply air dry on a clothes horse/rack.  (See a poplet image of her cousin Evie having a bath!)  Note, as colours do run in the initial few washes (appearance of doll is uncompromised), please wash separately from other clothes.
• Hypoallergenic:  Poppy has been made, both inside and out, with only the best quality 100% cotton fabrics reducing the risk of allergies and sensitivities often found with synthetic toys
• A Doll with Personality:  Poppy has her own distinctive personality within the Evie and Henry range of dolls. She loves yummy banana with nutmeg on top, pink fairy floss on a stick and her babushka doll Betty.  She also loves visiting her cousins Evie and Henry, looking for fairies in the bush under the big gum trees and, like Evie, doesn't love Henry's pet spider either!
