There are lots of books out there that try and teach children about being happy with themselves...Not trying to be anyone else...and simply knowing that they are special just the way they are. Very few books however, communicate this message in such a beautiful and fun way as "I Love Monkey".
Every child is a marvel, a unique and irreplaceable gift to the world-but deep down not every child believes it. It is up to us-parents, teachers, friends and grandparents- to let our children know that they are loved and treasured just as they are.
That's what makes "I Love Monkey" such a special book. Written and illustrated by Suzanne Kaufman, this delightful book is about a journey of self discovery...Throughout the book Monkey tries to be something special- a squirrel, a bunny, a grasshopper, a robot, a fish....but finally Monkey realizes that the most special thing of all is simply to just be yourself- no one in the whole wide world can ever do that better than you!
Teach your littlie the importance of appreciating their own uniqueness and give them the confidence to know they are special just the way they are by sharing the universal message found in "I Love Monkey". Your little one, just like Monkey, will come to realize that they are a lovable, one-of-a-kind treasure!
Beautifully illustrated (in 50's era style) with bold colours, this book will be admired and cherished for its terrific message as well as its superior quality.
